Here are some things he's doing now-
- he's starting to say more words but still behind on his speech. He now says "go" when you prompt him with "ready, set...", he also says "uh-oh", "oh no", momma and dadda occasionally, he sounds like he's saying "look at that," "NO"
- just this past weekend when you ask him to take his picture and say "cheese" he'll say it and smile! This happens about 10% of the time I ask but YAY...he's starting :) That'll help with picture time!
- still loves to sing and dance for us!
- he's becoming even more active than before- climbing, trying to jump, climbing more and ending up with more boo boos! UGH...
- he's really trying to tell us what he wants and when he's done with something...we just need to help him with his words so it's less frustrating for all of us!
- he's signing "more" and "please" more frequently and consistently! YEAH!!! It's a start and we praise him every time he does it!
- he loves to (don't ask me why he does this or where he learns this from) suck on your neck!! Seriously- it's the funniest thing...usually is mine or Dennis's but he just goes in for a kiss and then starts sucking..we have to be careful with this but he thinks its hilarious! and so do we :)
- becoming more of a picky eater with veggies and meats mostly but still loves peas, broccoli, ground beef, and any kind of noodle! Really he isn't a picky, picky eater but he used to love some things and lately just can't stand them!
- he loves to eat from our plates or eat out of our cereal bowls!
- loves to play with his trains and balls of course!
- likes to help us with laundry, and cleaning around the house. He loves to make a mess but when you ask him to help clean up he really does do this! It's so cute to watch too...
- he weighs 24lb and was 32 1/2 in. tall. That puts him in 50% for height, and 25% for weight still. Nothing new there...he's been in those percentiles since he's been born!
- still LOVE his milk!! YEAH!
- he's SO EXCITED to be welcoming a baby BROTHER!! He needs little boys to play with around here :) He LOVES his girl cousins but he does put everything on his wrist like a bracelet and is taking an interest into baby dolls :) A baby brother will be so much fun for him to play with!!
